Road Trip!
Yes!! I leave tomorrow for a short trip to San Antonio for a Mary Kay summit hosted by my national sales director Shirley Oppenheimer! I am blessed to have my best friend and teammate Lily Aleman accompanying me! It is a Grease theme, so we get to dress 50's style. It will be great to see some good friends and to make some new ones! I will take lots of pictures and report how fun it was when I get back.

A Life Change!
Well, I have been wanting to write this blog all week, but have been hesitating. I withdrew from college last week, and I have decided to work Mary Kay full time. I do want to finish school, but I don't want to go another 30K in debt doing so. I also want to pursue a degree that I am passionate about such as a bible or ministry related degree. It was a hard decision and it still hurts. I have earned my associates, and I am so grateful for the knowledge I have gained. I have grown and matured in many ways because of college. I really love what I am doing in my Mary Kay business, so I am excited about the future in that. It has changed me in many ways, such a setting goals for myself. I don't mean in just my business but in life as well. I have made some amazing friends, and I meet new people several times a week. I love making women feel special and teaching them that it is ok to take care of themselves so they can better take care of their families! I am adjusting to this new life change, and has been wonderful so far!

Today was Great!
This was an awesome day! I started it at Church. I started a new bible study by Beth Moore. I have done it before, but it is a great one so I will attend. My pastor's wife hosts the class, and I have the honor of being her assistant! She is a beautiful godly woman, and I think she is a great role model! After church, my son and I had lunch at my best friend's house. It was delicious! I am blessed to have a friend like Lily. Her family is so loving and easy to be around. This is a pic of her and her husband on her last birthday! She is so beautiful!
Then I went to visit my sister and her family! Her new baby is so precious and she is six weeks old tomorrow. My sister is a great mom and has a great heart. Now I am at home playing on the computer. It has been a long time since I took one whole day off from housework, Mary Kay, studying, etc.... It is nice, but I have a lot to do tomorrow! I love it though. We are about to go to my mother-in-law's to eat dinner and fellowship some more with loved ones! I can't wait to start my week tomorrow!

I feel as if I am embarking on a new stage of my life! I love being a mom and a wife. It is the best. I also enjoy setting goals for myself and accomplishing them. This is new to me. I just lived life for so long without ever challenging myself. I became a christian three years ago, and I have changed in so many positive ways. I believe God wants us to live to our fullest potential!
